01 · Why
Why do we have this?
Mappings need revisiting. A column gets renamed, a field you skipped turns out to matter, or a configuration was a mistake.
02 · How
Change or remove one
- Go to Settings → Integrations and press
Sync Mappingson your connection. - Find the configuration in the list.
- Use the icon you want: the circular arrow runs it now, the pencil opens the mapping, the bin deletes it.
- In the mapping editor, change what you need and step through to
Complete Setupto save.
03 · Expected result
An edited configuration shows its new field count. A deleted one disappears from the list.
04 · Notes
Deleting a configuration does not delete records
Records already brought in stay in the table. What stops is future syncing for that record type.
Editing opens the same wizard
Starting on the mapping step with your existing choices in place — see Set up a sync configuration.
05 · FAQ
Common questions
Can I turn one off without deleting it?
No. There is no enable/disable on a configuration. To stop everything on a QuickBooks connection, use the pull switch instead — see Turn QuickBooks pulls off and on.
Can I get one back after deleting it?
No. Build it again.
