02 · Why

Why do we have this?

Some jobs happen outside Merchaint — a report for your accountant, a check in a spreadsheet, a list for someone without a login. Export gets the data out in a shape anyone can open.

03 · How

Export a module

  1. Filter the module to what you want first. Export follows what's on screen. See Search, filters and saved views.
  2. Press Export.
  3. Pick a format — CSV or Excel.
  4. Pick a scope — the current page, or all records.
  5. Choose your fields. Everything is ticked; Deselect All gives you a blank slate.
  6. Press the export button. It tells you how many records it's sending.

04 · Expected result

A file downloads with the fields you chose, in the order they appear in the module.
