Why do we have this?
Not everything comes as a PDF. Opening balances, a supplier somebody phoned in, a correction after a conversation — all of it has to be typeable.
03 · How
Add one
- Press
Add Recordat the top of the module. - Fill in the fields. Anything with a red asterisk is required.
- Press
Create Record.
The form matches the types: dates get a calendar, money gets a box with a currency symbol, Select fields get a list. See Columns and data types.
Edit one
Open the record and click the value you want to change. It becomes editable in place. Click away to keep it.
04 · Expected result
The record appears in the grid straight away. Edits save as you make them — there's no save button on the record page.
05 · Troubleshooting / notes

Create Record won't press | A required field is empty. Look for the red asterisks. |
| Clicking a value does nothing | The record is closed or archived. See Open, closed and archived records. |
| The date is a month out | The greyed days at the top of the calendar belong to the month before, and they're clickable. |

Common questions
There isn't one on the record page. Changes save as you make them.
Not by typing. Bring them in as a spreadsheet — see Import a spreadsheet.
Not directly. The Logs tab on the record shows what changed and when — see The record page.
It's probably closed or archived.
