01 · Why

Why keep it current?

Some of this shows up elsewhere in Merchaint, and the legal and tax details matter once you are being invoiced.

02 · How

Edit your organization

  1. Go to Settings → Organization.
  2. Edit Organization Details — name, URL, website, description — and press its Save.
  3. Edit Legal Information — legal name, tax ID, industry, company size — and press its Save.
  4. Add delivery or billing addresses with Add Address, then press Save.

03 · Expected result

The organization name changes everywhere, including the top of the sidebar.

04 · Notes

Security Policies live on this page too

Require Two-Factor Authentication and Allow Member Invitations. See Roles and permissions before touching either.

The Organization URL is your address within Merchaint

Not your website. There is a separate Website field.

05 · FAQ

Common questions

Who can change these?

An Admin or the Owner.

Does changing the organization name break anything?

No. It is a label.

What is "Allow Member Invitations" for?

It decides whether ordinary Members can invite people, or only Admins and the Owner. It is on by default.
