Why do we have this?
If you have used Merchaint on a shared computer, or think somebody else has your password, this is where you end those sessions.
02 · How
End a session
- Go to Settings → Security and scroll to Active sessions.
- Find the session you want to end. Yours is labelled Current session.
- Press
Revokenext to it. - To end everything except the device you are on, scroll to the bottom and press
Revoke all other sessions.
03 · Expected result
That session is signed out. Anyone using it has to sign in again. Your own session is unaffected.
04 · Notes
The details are thin
Sessions show a browser name — sometimes just "Browser" — and an internal network address, so you often cannot tell one from another. When in doubt, revoke all others and sign in again where you need to.
"71 days ago" is when the session started
Not when it was last used.
05 · FAQ
Common questions
Yes, if that session is in the list. You will need to sign in again there.
Nothing is lost. Sign in again on that device.
Every sign-in creates one and they are not tidied up. It does not mean anyone else has been in your account.
