Reading the builder
The Form view is a list you can edit. The Canvas view is a picture. Neither shows anything the other does not — they are the same workflow drawn two ways.

Why are there two views?
The Form view is a list you can edit. The Canvas view is a picture. Neither shows anything the other does not — they are the same workflow drawn two ways, and you will mostly live in Form.

Below those, two tabs: Editor (what you are building) and Backfill (running it over records you already have — see Apply it to records you already have).
In the Form view, each step shows its number, its type, and a one-line summary. Click a step to open its settings on the right. Drag the handle on the left to move a step. Inside a step’s panel, Change swaps it for a different type and the bin deletes it.
03 · Notes
The two views name branches differently
A step that splits into two paths shows as IF and ELSE in the Form view, but APPROVED and REJECTED in the Canvas view when it is an approval step. Inside a condition step’s own settings, the same two paths are called Yes path and No path. Three names, one thing.
Canvas is for looking, not building
You cannot drag steps around it or zoom.
