Set up a match block

Why you'd use this

A match block is the whole of your matching configuration in one place: which two modules are being compared, which records pair up, and what has to agree for a pair to count.

02 · How

1. Open Configure → Matching and create a block.
2. Choose the two sides — usually invoices against purchase orders.
3. Set the mapping rules that decide which records are candidates for each other.
4. Set the matching rules that decide whether a candidate pair agrees.
5. Preview against real records before turning the block on.
